Renovation in Ascot

This was a fabulous project.  Complete new Spanish slate roof, we made the outside old coal store into a bathroom by raising the existing roof on it and retiling. We had to cut through the kitchen wall to create a doorway into the new bathroom, it worked well.

New Spanish style kitchen with baskets, we kept all the original fireplaces and made them good.  Stripped all the floors and varnished, gave them that honey colour look.  A new bathroom upstairs with roll top bath, leaving the fireplace.  A complete decoration inside and out, detailing the brickwork above the windows.

The favourite bit is you could sit on the loo upstairs and watch Royal Ascot races through the window.
